Gas light - series of drawings, graphite pencil, ink, acrylic on cotton, 140 x 150 cm, 2025-26.
In these drawings on large-scale canvases, I depict key scenes from the film The House of Lady Alquist. The flickering gas lamps and objects used to create an atmosphere of uncertainty and manipulation. By enlarging details and emphasizing light and shadow, spaces open up in which personal fears and insecurities are projected – the visible becomes a mirror of doubts.
